15 thru 22 INTERNATIONAL AFFAIRS SEMINAR, a 50-year Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) tradition and an excused absence from school, where high school juniors and seniors, along with adult sponsors, travel to two of our country’s greatest cities, exposing participants to a larger world view and challenging them to gain an understanding of their responsibilities as Christians in our world.

LOCATION: Washington D.C. & New York City

I.A.S. COST: The Seminar cost is $1500 which includes airfare, bus travel, insurance, lodging, materials, speakers, and the Broadway musical. Participants will need a minimum of $400 for meals and other items not included in the registration fee (sightseeing, subway fares, etc.) . Initial $500 deposit due November 1, 2007. 14^th - GRR YOUTH COMMISSION APPLICATIONS & COUNSELOR/STEWARD APPLICATIONS due in Regional Office. The GRRYC is the youth leadership team for the Region, comprised of up to 20 high school juniors and seniors and up to 8 adult sponsors. Counselors and Stewards are the backbone of our camping program! Both sets of applications will be sent with the Camp Mailing in early 2008.
