Information about the Continuing Education and Activity Report

Our Ministry policies require that each licensed or ordained minister actively serving in ministry complete 24 actual hours of education per year, and that those education hours be reported as a part of the “standing process” each Regional Assembly year.  This means that since November of 2006 you have invested 48 hours in activity and education that enhances your ministry.  SOME options for continuing education are:

• Books on ministerial issues (1 hour = 60 pages)
• Workshops attended at Regional Assembly, General Assembly, NEW, Elders conference, Disciples Institute, etc (1 hour workshop = 1 hour education)
• Classes taught or attended (1 hour class = 1 hour education)
• Counselor, Director, Commission member for Regional Events (1 event = 1 hour education)

Period:  Regional Assembly 2006 – 2008
