JOYS and PRAYER CONCERNS

*       Rev. Rita Richardson, Central Christian Church in Russellville, AR is the primary caregiver for three adults in her home and is requesting our prayers.

*       Jim and Sarah Marie Rainwater, former Regional Minister for the CC in Arkansas, have not been able to attend worship services for about a month due to health concerns and ask for our prayers.

*       Rev. Steven Sherrill is asking for our prayers for Ivy Chapel CC in Little Rock, AR as they attempt to try new ministries there.

*       Thanksgiving and Christmas sometimes are difficult times for those of us who have lost loved ones.  Let’s be in prayer for those we know who might find the holidays a rough time without loved ones to share with them.

Piano to Donate.  Judy Horne at FCC Fayetteville has friends who would like to donate a piano to a church in the region. Judy asked that people contact her if they are interested in seeing the piano or for further information. Her e-mail is jhorne@pgtc.com and her phone is 479-267-1022.
Here is the information Judy sent to me:  The family would donate the piano and I imagine they would pay for the shipping, but I can't say for sure. The churches need to know that the piano will need a lot of rebuilding inside (might cost up to $5,000). If the family doesn't have to ship it far, then they might pay the repair cost. They really want the piano to be in a place where it will be loved and cherished, where the people will take good care of it. The piano was built around 1918. It's a Mason and Hamlin "parlor grand" piano. Repaired pianos of this time period are selling in the range of $16,000-$25,000.  Thank you.
