From Vivian Bryant:  FCC Hermanville, AR will install/commission Rev. Robert Cox on Sunday, April 29 at 3 p.m.  I’m honored to deliver the sermon at this event.

From Rick Hamilton:  This week I have enjoyed working with the Elders of FCC Russellville, and some much needed calendar planning.

Last Sunday’s Celebration of Covenant of Call for Dr. David Artman and Rev. Patty Methvin was outstanding. Thanks to all the people of Harrison who helped to make it happen.

This Sunday I will hear a mission trip report from Cheryl Sybrant and Tammy Bubniak, who recently returned from our sister congregation in Wrenchville, South Africa. Then I will be in Ozark and Little Rock during the week.

Congregations in I’m working with in Search and Call:

  • Jackson, MS:      First Christian – Pastor
  • West Point, MS:  First Christian – Pastor
  • Berryville, AR:     First Christian
  • Ozark, AR:          First Christian

All inquiries should be directed to me in confidence: rick@grrcc.org

From Michael Elmore:  This past week I met with members of FCC Crowley to begin the process of closing their church.
I will be worshiping with FCC Gulfport this Sunday as they rededicate their sanctuary after repairs following Katrina.

There are two churches in the Southern District who are organizing to begin the search process - FCC Lake Charles and FCC Sulphur.
Rev. Dana Hoover has resigned as Pastor of FCC Sulphur effective May 20th.  Keep him and the church in your prayers.
